Paisiblement, aux Soins Palliatifs de l’Hôtel-Dieu, est décédée Mme Nioma Stevenson, entourée de sa fille Shirley et de ses amies Holly et Carol. Elle avait 95 ans. Fille de feu Ernest Stevenson et de feu Janet Wallace et épouse de feu Josaphat Audit.
Elle était la mère de feu Jerry (Lucy) et elle laisse dans le deuil, sa fille Shirley, sa sœur June Matheson, ses petits-enfants Christopher et Elizabeth (Alex), ses arrière-petits-enfants Rosalie et Charlie ainsi que plusieurs neveux nièces, cousins, cousines et amis.
Les visites auront lieu à la Résidence Funéraire Cass, 3006 rue Collège Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), le vendredi 7 juin 2024 de 19h00 à 21h00. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 8 juin à 14h. en l'église Unie Cookshire Trinity (190 Principale, Cookshire, QC) célébrées par Tami Spires avec les visites à l’église dès 13h. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière Lakeside Bishopton.
Des dons au Cimetière Lakeside a/s Marie James, 139 rue Main Dudswell, Québec J0B 1G0 ou aux Soins Palliatifs Hôtel-Dieu a/s Les Auxiliaires Bénévoles du CHUS, 580 Bowen Sud, Sherbrooke, QC J1G2E8 seraient appréciés.
Un merci spécial à son médecin de longue date le Dr André Jacques, au Dr Paquette ainsi qu’à l'équipe d'infirmières, infirmières auxiliaires et préposées des Soins Palliatifs de l’Hôtel-Dieu. Également notre reconnaissance va à Holy, Vicki, Carol et Bev pour leur gentillesse et leur soutien.
