Garry passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024, at the CSSS Memphremagog. He was the son of the late George William Carruthers and the late Mildred Ann MacDonald.
He was predeceased by his wife Margot Montgomery and is survived by his sons Bryan (Joanne) and David (Sally). He leaves to mourn his grandchildren Derrick, Lyanne & Tyler Carruthers. He is also survived by his sister Gloria Buschel of Kelowna, B.C.
He will be sadly missed by his close companion, Faith Olsen, of Newport, Vermont.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
