It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lloyd James Findlay at the Wales Home on January 16, 2024 at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Hilton Findlay and the late Adalean Laxson.
Lloyd leaves to mourn his loving wife of 60 years Beverley Lodge Findlay; his children: Kevin (Kristine), Susan (Earl) and Craig (Alison); his cherished grandchildren: James, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Cameron, Tyler and Amy-Lynn and also his great grandchildren Dawson and Kaiden.
He leaves to mourn his siblings: the late Joyce (late Keith), Delbert (late Helen), late Janet (Albert), Debra (Peter) and the late Gary, as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held in the Danville-Asbestos Trinity United Church, 43 rue Grove, Danville, on Saturday January 20th from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Reginald Jennings officiating. Interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers,memorial donations to the Danville Protestant Cemetery Company, 150 Laberge Road, Danville (QC) J0A 1A0 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
