Carolyn Lancaster Coates
1947-2024
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Carolyn Lancaster, peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the age of 77.
She was the daughter of the late Aleck Lancaster and the late Myrtle Allison and wife of Herbert Coates.
Cherished mother of Gordon, Michael (Laurie), Jerry (Brenda) and Ron (Line).
Caroline leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: the late Angus (Doreen), the late Jenicka (late Russell), the late Shirley (late Max), Earl, Ron (Jennifer), Mary (Dave), Pam (Tommy), and the late Tony (Donna).
She also leaves to mourn several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Homes, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Friday, September 6th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The family will be present at the Cookshire Trinity Church (190 Principale West) for visitation on Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by the celebration of her life at 10 a.m.
Burial at Lakeside Cemetery in Bishopton immediately following the service.
Donation to the Lakeside Cemetery Bishopton, would be greatly appreciated.
