It is with great sadness that the family of Marie announces her passing, suddenly at her home on October 25, 2024 at the age of 60.
Loved daughter of the late Albert and Laurel James.
Dear sister of Richard (Uta Raasch), Allan (Margaret), Katherine (Reg Decoteau), Cindy (Malcolm Bennett) and sister-in-law of Nancy James. Predeceased by brothers Ronald and Andrew.
She will lovingly be remembered and greatly missed by her eleven nieces and nephews.
Marie loved all her family very much. She enjoyed watching and feeding birds, seeing the deer outside her door and taking photos. She had a great love for Black Lab dogs.
Marie also leaves to mourn, her friends Gail, Barb, J.D and Josee. The family would like to thank Josee Sigouin for her dedication and cherished friendship to Marie.
Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
As per Marie’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
Fill Not Your Heart
Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow.
But remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles.
I’ve only gone to rest a little while.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief.
My going has eased my hurt and given me relief.

I am so heartbroken for your family and the loss of dear Marie. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and loved her. In my short time visiting your family with my grandparents in the summer of 2016, I had the genuine joy of meeting and being loved by Marie, a kind and lovely soul. She welcomed me in with such kindness, and I will forever cherish knowing her.
